1. How long have you been a volunteer?
I started to join as a volunteer in various projects since the 10th grade. At the moment 6 years have passed.
2. How did you get acquainted with the Support Center Sirota.lv?
In 2013, Vladislav Vasiliev (current director of the Sirota.lv Center) visited me and my friends. He told about his idea to help orphans. And he motivated us to go to the orphanage. Since this all started.
3. What is your favorite project in the center?
Trips to orphanages.
4. Tell us why.
It is the first project I was involved in and it is the main action of Sirota.lv.
5. What can you say about the children you are working with?
They are ordinary till the teenage stage, afterwards the absence of parental love is strongly manifested.
6. What is the coolest thing about volunteer work?
Fate introduces you to a variety of cool people.
7. Have you faced some problems? How do you solve it?
My friends (also volunteers) help me when something is going wrong. There are so many of them, someone always helps.
8. What do you like in the Support Center Sirota.lv?
The team of volunteers.

A volunteer is a seeker.
10. Can you give potential volunteer some advice?
Don’t think to become a volunteer or not – just do it! You will get the answer while practice.
